Sanja Pesic Ostojic 1968 Born in Belgrade 1995 Graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade 1995 Became a member of ULUS (The Association of Visual Artists of Serbia) 1998. MA Degree in the class of professor Andjelka Bojovic Solo Exhibitions: 1994. Gallery of International Press Center , Belgrade 1995. Yugoslav Art Gallery ”Andrichev Venac” 1998. Gallery of Faculty of Fine Arts, Belgrade 2002. Gallery ” The House of Djura Jaksic” 2006. Gallery ” Bozidar Adjija” Sreto Boshnyak, Serbian critic wrote about Sanya’s paintings: “To what world do these scenes, imaginary landscapes belong to? What time do they belong to: historical, mythic, religious-or are they placed outside the common material world and its time? Despite possible analogies and motifs in the history of painting, here we are dealing with a poetic transcription of personal experience of a dream or a desire into a theme that concerns us all.”
